7 days in Sunny June.

That’s about how long I was home in June. Am I a Jamiroquai super fan, I dunno, I can name 10 songs that aren’t virtual insanity.

A real lovely banger

After Amorical Cup, I loaded in a local cross-stitch convention then later that same day I got to take a real cool trip out to the Indiana Dunes. We went to Lake Michigan, toured some museums, fished, kayaked and swam. All in all it was a great trip.

Very rewarding family time and did some work while I was out there too.

Shortly after our Dunes adventure I was in town for a few days before I set off again to volunteer for Sanctuary at Homestead. This is a Cincinnati based non profit, who Ive worked with in the past helping set up for conventions or running events. This year I am assisting them at origins and gencon, running tournaments for bloodbowl. This week was Origins game faire, where I also had Tallulah come and help me volunteer. Tallu had such a good time that her 1 day trip ended up being 3 days.

assembling dudes!

I also ran a 3 round bloodbowl tourney while I was there!

After we got back from origins, the next day was Father’s Day. I had a lovely breakfast and tore down Stitch-Con.

Then two days later, back on the road to head down to South Carolina. To visit family and enjoy the sun.

Was it the busiest June ever? Probably not for most people, but it was insane for us.
