In the bloodbowl community there is a very neat little community project called a Legacy Team. The idea is, people will paint a miniature or two, to include in a bloodbowl team. You’ll have 10-20 people participate painting miniatures for this team, then it’s compiled together and raffled off or given away. Last year I decided I wanted to lead a legacy team. I had a friend from the league, Blaine, who donated The Rakovendetta Bretonian Halfling team to the cause.
I handed the models out last year and I am now collecting them and preparing them to be a cohesive team, with custom bases and a team logo!
By April I should have a lot more to show off. All proceeds for this are going towards future events and to offset the financial stress of running these events. I am a simple man of simple means, I usually do a little worse than breaking even on Cabbage cup. Hopefully when this team is assembled, it will be something that people will be excited about. I’m actually getting pretty excited about it and I don’t think I am allowed to win my own raffle ☹️.
