Today was Bloodbowl Tournament day and time for the second snow brawl. The first one was in Kentucky last year and two friends from Colorado flew in to play. While in town they crashed at my house and we went on the Amazing Union Terminal floor tour. It was guided by a docent named Patty Parrot, who was extremely knowledgeable and chatty, turning our forty five minute tour into two hours.

This is an important note because to celebrate that amazing tour and combine it with my love of blood bowl, I made an Elven Union team for this years Snow Brawl 2 – Elven Union Terminals. With players named after the artists, architects and political Figures who helped create Union Terminal. I also named a player after Patty Parrot whos dedication and passion in sharing its history keeps Union Terminal relevant today.

And now back to today, today was a bloodbowl tournament day and time for the second Snow Brawl. Snow brawl 2 was supposed to be held at a convention this year but due to other games not being as great as bloodbowl, Snow Brawl 2 took place at the game preserve. I was fortunate enough to ride to with 2 friends, Zadrian and Schlegeldash (the bloodbowl community uses nicknames.)
Round 1 Vs Lucas playing his very first bloodbowl tournament and his (dads) Lizardmen – Swamp Skinks (THE OP Ones)

Round 2 vs XTREME and his Wood Elf’s Sherwood Ghosts

Round 3 Vs HouseBlackfyres Orcs The Brave Companions + Jingle

A little skill, more luck and a lot more snowballs and I ended up winning the whole thing 3-0-0 for the day. I was going in expecting to get destroyed after testing this roster out against a new friend and getting wrecked. So winning it was a really pleasant surprise!

But all my opponents also won something besides just the joy of playing me.

Unfortunately there wasn’t a contest for
best Painted Jingle Tumblefoot. If there was, I think we all knew I had it in the bag!

See you next time at snowbrawl 3!
